Counts include 28 on 22nd March & 25 on 23rd October.
MALLARD
Records include female and 5 young on 7th May.

Recorded of single birds on several dates, the first a male on 29th March, with
2 on 27th April, 14-15th May, 14-20th & 25th September.
NORTHERN SHOVELER (SHOVELER)
Highest counts were 14 on March 22nd and 8 on 23rd Oct.
TUFTED DUCK
Female & ducklings on 20th July.
COMMON MOORHEN (MOORHEN)
Highest counts include 58 with large juveniles and a brood of smaller juveniles
on 31st July, 67 on 20th August and 78 0n 6th September.
COMMON COOT (COOT)
Twelve on 22nd March, 15 on 15th Sept. Breeding - on 7th May there 5 nests
and 2 broods.
EURASIAN OYSTERCATCHER (OYSTERCATCHER)
Pair with 1 young on 4, 10 & 17th June, and 1 on 2nd Aug.
LITTLE PLOVER (LITTLE RINGED PLOVER)
Records on various dates from 22nd March to 15th Sept, mostly of single birds
but 2 on 4th, 17th & 26th June, and 5 on 18th July.
RINGED PLOVER
Recorded on various dates from 22nd July to 14th Sept, singles on 5 dates, 2
on 12th August and 1st & 16th Sept, 3 on 31st August, 5-6th &
14 Sept.
NORTHERN LAPWING (LAPWING)
Five birds displaying on 22nd March, 6 pairs breeding north of pool (28th April),
8 pairs on 7th May, when 2 broods seen. Six broods seen on 4th June(1,1,1,1,
2 & 2). Largest flock of 580 on 29th July.
LITTLE STINT
Two juveniles from 14-20th September.
CURLEW SANDPIPER
Two juveniles on 14th September.
DUNLIN
1–2 from 31st July to 11th August, with 3 on 4-5, & 8th August.
RUFF
Singles on 13th May, 22-25th Aug.

on 2nd Aug and 8 on 1st Sept.

(1,1,&2) on latter date.

Two on May 13th, 1 on 9th July, 3 on 11th Aug and 1 on 18th-22nd Aug.

Records on various dates from 10th July to 4th Oct, including 7 on 10th July,
9 on 20th July, 7 on 31st July, 8 on 2nd-3rd Aug, 7 on 11th Aug and highest
count of 12 on 15th Aug.

Singles on 10th & 22nd July, and 19th & 22nd Aug, 2 on 24-29th

Singles on 23rd, 28th-31st July, and 5th-8th & 12th Aug, 2 on

One on 4th May and 31st July.

Twenty-two on wires opposite pools on 31st July.
